Senior specialist at the Laboratory of Electrical Power Apparatus Testing (LAE) in the support division;
1) University education and one year’s work experience;
2) Experience in testing of LV and MV power apparatus;
3) Ability to manage laboratory infrastructure, including measuring apparatus and research equipment;
4) Ability to prepare reports, statements and documentation related to research/testing;
5) Self-reliance, initiative, ease of networking, ability to seek and obtain information.
MILE WIDZIANE:
1) Master’s degree, preferably in the fields of: electrical engineering, electrotechnology, electronics, automation. A doctoral degree may be an added advantage; 2) A minimum of 2 years’ experience in insulation strength testing of LV and MV power apparatus and/or surge arresters is welcome; 3) Experience of working in an accredited environment (e.g. ISO 17025 compliant) and in research institutions; 4) Knowledge of PLC programming will be an added advantage; 5) Knowledge of analogue/digital/optical measurement techniques – will be an added advantage; 6) English language skills – min. B1; 7) Knowledge of health and safety, environmental and regulatory standards for laboratory operations.
CODZIENNE ZADANIA:
1) Implementation of the services provided by the Laboratory in terms of: · short-circuit, temperature rise, mechanical tests on LV and MV power and switchgear apparatus; · drafting of testing reports; · consultation with clients at the scoping and implementation stage; 2) Participation in activities to broaden the laboratory’s testing offer; 3) Adequate security and use of the Laboratory’s apparatus and equipment.
