Such a system will consist of a dedicated power supply (inverter) and an electric motor. The drive design will be optimised for use in&nbsp; buses and vans. The drive systems proposed could also be used to trams and&nbsp; trolleybuses. A key innovation of the proposed solution will be the optimised lightweight design of the efficient electric drive. The &nbsp;project involves the research focusing on the design and &nbsp;development of construction documentation for the entire system and its components, the fabrication of prototypes, and detailed laboratory testing.
