processing method and prospects for management<\/strong>&#8221; (PB_rMEW) is supported by an earmarked grant from the President of the Lukasiewicz Center.<\/p>\n<p>Total value of the project: 693 750 PLN<\/p>\n<p>Funding: 693 750 PLN<\/p>\n<p>The project involves the comprehensive preparation of a method for the treatment of waste raw material from wind turbine blades and the development of recyclate in the form (degree of fineness) that is most suitable for use as filler for composites for the manufacture of equipment components (revision holes, flaps, doors, casings, column and nacelle profiles), gel-coat repair pates (filling of cavities in working systems) and top-coat varnishes (protection or servicing of surfaces about blades) as a recycling and circular economy. This is extremely important due to the high demands on material quality in the energy industry, particularly in highly corrosive maritime climates, where materials need to be clean, homogeneous, with high performance characteristics, which results in a high price and limitations on market availability. The developed recyclate will be incorporated into the resin matrix used to make the blades in varying percentages by weight \u2013 from 5 to 70% by weight. This assumes 3 types of compositions with different viscosities and processing methods (pressure moulding, gravity casting, filling, painting) and different purposes. The cross-linked composites will be tested for their suitability in the secondary cycle at SHPP components.
