The key objective of the project is to promote science among the youngest, and this will be achieved by organising an open day at the \u0141ukasiewicz \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Institute of Electrical Engineering, entitled \u201cThe institute entertains, teaches, educates \u2013 encouraging you to learn”.
The project plans to hold workshops on electromobility, renewable energy sources or the use of epoxy resin. During demonstrations led by \u0141ukasiewicz-IEL staff, participants will be able to see a number fascinating scientific experiments and learn about the phenomena and mechanisms behind them This will be a great opportunity to show that science is not just about numbers, formulas and equations, but above all about having fun. With activities tailored to the age of the children, they will be able to become little engineers, scientists and explorers for a while. We are confident that this will instil in them a lasting desire to explore the world and find creative solutions to the problems they encounter. After all, we have always had not only a curiosity about the world around us, but also a desire to understand the mechanisms behind it. And it is this need to know and explore that inspires the development of scientific talents, innovative solutions or breakthrough inventions. <\/span>We hope that many young people will be inspired to take a bold step into the world of science by visiting the \u0141ukasiewicz-IEL. <\/span>We will invite 200 young participants to take part in the project. <\/span>Visitors will be able to see the application of the latest heating technologies <\/span>technologies in the office space, innovative solutions in the field of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy storage and powertrain power components. <\/span>Visitors to the open day will also be able to see demonstrations in the high-voltage laboratory, visit the short-circuit laboratory, take part in workshops and demonstrations (including a competition to build a wind turbine using LEGO bricks), and finally take a break in the relaxation area, where there will be a snack bar, deckchairs and blankets. As an added attraction, an animation company will be on hand for the little ones. <\/span>On entering the Institute, participants will be given a set of gadgets, including a lanyard with a badge to make them feel like real \u0141ukasiewicz-IEL employees, a rucksack, a pin, a notebook and pencil, a creative puzzle toy, a handful of sweets and an educational booklet about \u0141ukasiewicz-IEL and the topics to be discussed during the day.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
