On Friday, June 28, 2024, the management of Lukasiewicz-Electrotechnical Institute signed an agreement to receive funding from the National Reconstruction Plan (NRP). The amount of funding, amounting to more than 70 million zlotys, will enable further development of modern technologies that have a significant impact on the security of the energy sector and the electrical engineering industry in Poland. <\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

AGREEMENT TO SUBSCRIBE FOR NON-REFUNDABLE SUPPORT FROM THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN UNDER THE INVESTMENT:<\/strong> A2.4.1 Investments in the<\/strong> expansion of research capacity of the NATIONAL PLAN FOR RECONSTRUCTING AND INCREASING RESPONSIBILITIES.<\/p>

Agreement to support the project: Expansion of Research Potential of the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrical Engineering<\/strong>, within the framework of the National Plan for Reconstruction and Resilience Enhancement, <\/p>

Value of the Undertaking and Value of Support<\/strong><\/p>

1 The total cost of implementing the Project is PLN 120,150,816.43 (in words: one hundred and twenty million one hundred and fifty thousand eight hundred and sixteen zlotys and forty-three cents).<\/p>

(2) The total amount of eligible expenditure is PLN 104,490,607.25 (one hundred and four million four hundred and ninety thousand six hundred and seven zlotys and twenty-five cents).<\/p>

(3) Under the terms of the Agreement, the Supporting Entity shall grant support to the Final Recipient of Support in an amount not exceeding PLN 70,262,731.05 (in words: seventy million two hundred and sixty-two thousand seven hundred and thirty-one zlotys and five cents).<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The funds received will be used to develop the institute’s research potential, including the modernization and construction of unique research labs in five key areas:<\/p>

1. electromobility and intelligent transportation<\/strong> – laboratories will be equipped with modern apparatuses for research in modern means of transportation.<\/p>

2. hydrogen technology diagnostics<\/strong> – development of hydrogen technologies that can play a key role in the future of energy.<\/p>

3. power electronic converter designs<\/strong> – research on converters that are key to efficient power<\/strong> conversion.<\/p>

4. electrical power apparatus<\/strong> – equipping laboratories with advanced electrical power apparatus, necessary for research on new technologies in the power industry.<\/p>

5 High-frequency GaN and SiC devices<\/strong> – development of technologies based on gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC), which are key to modern high-performance electronic devices.<\/p>

Implementation of these tasks will improve the quality of the institute’s research, supporting the development of innovative technologies and increasing competitiveness in the domestic and international markets.<\/p>

The National Plan for Reconstruction and Increasing Resilience (NIP), funded by the European Union, aims to rebuild the development potential of the economy and create sustainable competitiveness for the country.
