Within the funding received from the National Reconstruction Plan (NRP\/KPO), the team from the \u0141ukasiewicz Institute of Electrical Engineering planned the construction of the Power Electronic Converter Design Laboratory.<\/b><\/div>
The Laboratory will be key to supporting the development of energy conversion technologies, particularly in the context of the growing importance of renewable energy sources and the electrification of transport.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
The Laboratory infrastructure is designed to facilitate comprehensive product research and development, benefiting both businesses and research institutions.<\/div><\/div>
Key functions of the Laboratory will include:<\/div>
– providing the necessary tools to research new technologies and improve existing products;<\/div>
– enabling business to test products in compliance with prevailing standards, which is key to ensuring safety and quality;<\/div>
– organisation of training courses and workshops to offer support for businesses that want to improve their competence in the field of power electronic converters;<\/div>
– optimising processes for market launches of new solutions, which has a significant impact on improving their competitive edge.<\/div><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
The Laboratory\u2019s offer will be addressed to:<\/div>
– manufacturers of energy converters, electric motors and photovoltaic panels can hire the Laboratory to test their products and conduct innovative projects;<\/div>
– companies looking to develop and test innovations which can harness the Laboratory\u2019s resources to accelerate the time of solutions to market;<\/div>
– universities and research centres wishing to conduct research and development, with training for future engineers and researchers.<\/div>
