Within the funding received from the National Reconstruction Plan (NRP\/KPO), the team from the \u0141ukasiewicz Institute of Electrical Engineering has planned investments in the laboratories at the Research Centre for Hydrogen Technologies.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
The Centre develops hydrogen technologies for the extraction, processing and storage of hydrogen and its carrier media. Broad areas of interest include the development of high-performance catalysts for alkaline water electrolysis, the development of heterogeneous catalyst-based technologies, as well as storage technologies for hydrogen and other gaseous fuels. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The measures taken under the funding are intended to accelerate the deployment of hydrogen technologies in Poland and worldwide, while increasing the safety and competitiveness of low-carbon technologies. Furthermore, the research on high-efficiency catalysts carried out at the Centre focuses on the applications of low-environmental-impact materials and the reduction of process energy consumption. <\/div>\n
The NRP funding will result in an expansion of the Centre\u2019s offer and Hydrogen Technology Laboratory.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The planned infrastructure will be used for:<\/div>\n
– research and development work in the fields of innovative catalysts, electrolysis technology, fuel cells, and hydrogen and synthetic fuel storage in stationary and mobile tanks;<\/div>\n
– development of new technological solutions and advanced research into prototype technologies;<\/div>\n
– providing specialised services to industry.<\/div>\n
