\n On Friday, 28 June, the management of the \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Electrotechnical Institute signed an agreement to receive funding from the National Reconstruction Plan (NRP). The amount of funding, amounting to more than PLN 70 million, will enable further development of modern technologies that have a significant impact on the security of the energy sector and the electrical engineering industry in Poland. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The funds received will be used to develop the institute’s research capacity, including the upgrade and construction of unique research laboratories in five key areas:<\/p>\n

1. Electromobility and intelligent transport <\/strong>\u2013 the laboratories will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for research into modern means of transport.<\/p>\n

2. Hydrogen technology diagnostics <\/strong>\u2013 development of hydrogen technologies that could play a key role in the future of energy.<\/p>\n

3. Power electronic converter designs <\/strong>\u2013 research into converters that are key to efficient power conversion.<\/p>\n

4. Electrical power equipment <\/strong>\u2013 equipping laboratories with advanced electrical power equipment necessary for research into new technologies in the power industry.<\/p>\n

5. GaN and SiC high-frequency devices <\/strong>\u2013 the development of gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) based technologies, which are key to modern, high-performance electronic devices<\/p>\n

The implementation of these tasks will enhance the quality of the institute’s research, supporting the development of innovative technologies and increasing competitiveness in the national and international markets.<\/p>\n

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP), funded by the European Union, aims to rebuild the development potential of the economy and create sustainable competitiveness for the country.
