The event also addressed the topics of fuel extraction from heavy industry and RES. <\/p>\n<p>The event, which is a response to the premises of the &#8220;Polish Hydrogen Strategy to 2030 with an Outlook to 2040&#8221;, the National Reconstruction Plan and the principals flowing from the idea of the European Green Deal, was organised by the <strong>Polish Chamber of Railways.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The conference took place on 19-21 June, and \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 IEL was represented by Marcin Parchomiuk and Grzegorz Stawicki, who presented, among other things, the project \u201cSustainable and environmentally-friendly railway systems\u201d (Rail4EARTH), which is being implemented at our Institute.  <\/p>\n<p>Hydrogen has the potential to become a fundamental element of the green transition. Its versatility and eco-friendliness make it applicable to a wide range of economic sectors, helping to reduce global CO\u2082 emissions and achieve sustainable development goals.
