Bogus\u0142aw Piero\u017cy\u0144ski and dr hab. in\u017c. Piotr So\u0142owiej, professor at UWM<\/strong><\/em>      <\/p>\n<p>The reviewers were dr hab. in\u017c. Iwona Flis-Kabulska, professor at UKSW, dr hab. in\u017c. Hubert J\u00f3zef Lata\u0142a, professor at URK and dr hab. in\u017c. Juliusz Orlikowski, professor at PG         <\/p>\n<p>The dissertation was written entirely in English and focused on the development of innovative, catalytic and relatively low-cost and durable electrode materials for use in alkaline water electrolysis. The objective of the work was to improve the catalytic efficiency of the base materials (nickel foam) to produce ultra-pure hydrogen and oxygen more efficiently. The electrode materials thus obtained were then used to construct a laboratory electrolyser with a power output above 500 W, which was part of the overall hydrogen generation system.
