During the 3rd Scientific and Technical Conference „Autonomous vehicles – modern technologies for national security” Łukasiewicz – IEL presented an integrated EV powertrain and the competences of the Research Centre for Electromobility and Smart Transport.
The solution presented integrates three key components of the powertrain into a single module: a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), an inverter and an AC/DC charger. This approach allows for high energy efficiency, reduced system size and simplified vehicle architecture, making the solution ready for use in modern electric vehicles, including uncrewed vehicles.
The Research Centre for Electromobility and Smart Transport specialises in design, research and testing of:
- electric drive systems;
- energy management systems;
- energy storage units;
- smart control systems for next-generation vehicles.
The Institute was represented at the conference by dr inż. Marcin Parchomiuk and mgr Grzegorz Stawicki, who gave a presentation on drive and charging systems for uncrewed vehicles.
Łukasiewicz – IEL invites business partners and research institutions to collaborate on joint projects in the field of electromobility and smart transportation.
