On 1 October 2025, the President of the Łukasiewicz Centre, PhD. Sc. Eng Hubert Cichocki, appointed PhD. Sc. Eng Marcin Parchomiuk as Director of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrical Engineering.
PhD. Sc. Eng Marcin Parchomiuk, an experienced manager in the field of research and development. He has long-standing experience in managing research teams and research and development projects focused on industrial implementation and commercialisation. An expert in the field of Energy and Transport, in particular in the area of electricity conversion and storage, electric drive systems, renewable energy sources and hydrogen technologies. An author of numerous scientific and industry publications, he combines the competences of a technical expert with the skills of effective strategic project management. Representative of the Łukasiewicz Research Network in the Hydrogen Economy Coordination Council at the Ministry of Climate and Environment and in the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley. Participant in numerous industry events and congresses on issues related to national energy security and defence.
