Completed projects

Note that we are a beneficiary of a project co-financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) under the “GECKO” PROGRAMME (2nd competition) entitled: Mobile medium-voltage power supply system for ships from the harbour quayside as a way of making maritime transport more environmentally- and economically-friendly

The project involves the development of a scalable S2SP (Shore to Ship Power) system consisting of an AC/DC substation, a DC cable power distribution system and mobile DC/AC terminals, positioned at shorelines as required. The terminal will be seated on a mobile platform and equipped with systems to feed the power cable to the vessel. The mobile terminal will include interchangeable switchgear, a matching transformer and a multi-level DC/AC power electronic converter. It will also have the ability to self-synchronise with the ship’s network and increase the power of the S2SP system through parallel or serial operation. The S2SP mobile solution, planned for development and verification on a 1:1 scale, will be the basis for unifying and reducing the cost of installing shore power systems for ships from the harbour, reducing noise and emissions in the harbour and energy costs compared to the traditional use of generator sets.

The project is being implemented by a consortium consisting of:
