TRAINING

Properties and selection of ceramic materials used in electrical engineering

Łukasiewicz – Institute of Electrical Engineering offers training and courses in the properties and selection of ceramic materials used in electrical engineering.

Training and courses are organised by the Łukasiewicz Centre for Electrotechnical Materials – Institute of Electrotechnology in Wrocław, either at a location designated by the customer or online, in the form of a presentation. Classes are taught by Institute researchers with the expertise and experience in the training topics.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the training is to broaden your knowledge of the properties of ceramic materials and the selection of plastics used in electrical engineering.

Topics discussed will include the properties of ceramic materials used in electrical engineering, requirements for these materials and types of quality testing of ceramic materials. Moreover, methods of selecting and optimising ceramic materials for electrical engineering and heating applications in terms of their operating conditions will be presented. Technology issues will be presented and the essence of technology purity in the production of ceramic products will be discussed.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Training for engineers, specialists, entrepreneurs and those interested in ceramic materials and their selection for use in electrical engineering and heating.

AGENDA

  • Introduction to the topic and discussion of the properties of ceramic materials used in electrical engineering and heating.
  • Presentation of material requirements and quality testing of ceramic materials used in electrical engineering.
  • Selection and optimisation of ceramic materials for electrical and heating applications.
  • Technical purity and technology errors in the production of ceramic products.
