On 19-21 November, the 1st National Congress “Science for Business” – one of the most important events in Poland dedicated to the cooperation between the worlds of science, innovation and economy – was held in Warsaw. The Congress was organised under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and brought together more than 1,500 participants, including entrepreneurs, scientists, representatives of public administration and innovation leaders.
The Congress programme included 30 expert panels on two stages, with more than 160 speakers – representatives of science, business and public institutions. At the same time, there was an extensive exhibition area with over 40 exhibitors, including the military, Polish companies operating on a European scale, universities, and research institutes.
Łukasiewicz – Institute of Electrical Engineering was one of the exhibitors at the Congress. Over the three days of the event, we presented our innovative projects and technological solutions, actively participating in discussions with representatives from business and academia. The control system for electric drives, a motor for small drone applications and a high-speed motor, among others, were of great interest to visitors and provided the starting point for numerous discussions about potential applications and collaborations.
The Institute was represented by:
Marcin Parchomiuk, Paweł Mosak, Selim Oleksowicz, Grzegorz Stawicki, Artur Moradewicz, Dariusz Świerczyński and Aleksandra Kazimierska.
Participation in the Congress was an intensive time of networking, exchange of experiences and inspiring meetings for our Institute, as well as an opportunity to strengthen business-scientific relations and support real technology transfer to the economy.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand – the conversations and interest in our offerings are an important impetus for us to further develop and implement technologies that meet business needs.
