September 2026 was a period of intense exhibition and networking activity for the Łukasiewicz Institute of Electrical Engineering. The Institute participated in three key industry events: the ENERGETAB International Trade Fair in Bielsko-Biała, the New Mobility Congress in Katowice, and the International Defense Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce.
During these events, representatives of the Institute showcased a broad spectrum of research and implementation expertise covering, among other things, electromobility, power electronics, energy conversion and storage, power equipment, materials technologies, solutions for critical infrastructure, and specialized technologies for the security and defense sectors.
The New Mobility Congress played a particularly important role, where the Institute presented solutions developed at the Research Center for Electromobility and Intelligent Transport, including multiphase drive systems, inverters, control systems, and modern technologies for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. The Łukasiewicz Research Network’s booth featured, among other things, a PMSM motor and a nine-phase inverter, which are examples of the advanced technologies the Institute is developing for the new mobility sector.
During the ENERGETAB trade show, the Institute presented a comprehensive range of offerings for the energy sector, including power engineering technologies, energy storage, electromobility, hydrogen technologies, and research and certification services. The event provided an opportunity for numerous meetings with industry representatives, energy infrastructure operators, and potential partners for research and development projects.
In turn, participation in MSPO 2026 provided an opportunity to showcase solutions that support energy security and national defense. The discussions resulted, among other things, in the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Military Central Design and Technology Bureau S.A. regarding the development of the Air-Power bidirectional aircraft power supply system, intended for both civilian and military applications.
Participation in these events allowed the Łukasiewicz Institute of Electrical Engineering to promote its own technologies, build relationships with industrial and institutional partners, and identify new avenues for cooperation and implementation. The September trade shows and conferences reaffirmed the Institute’s strong position as a partner supporting the energy transition, the development of modern mobility, and the country’s technological security.
