Note that the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrotechnology is a beneficiary of a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under Priority Axis I “Utilisation of research and development activity in the economy” of the Regional Operational Programme of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for 2014-2020″, Measure 1.2 “Research and development activity of enterprises” entitled. “New research areas at Elektrometal-Energetyka SA”.

The project involves the research work aimed at preparing ready-to-use solutions to support the operation and maintenance of the protection system of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) substations in the areas of safety, prevention and data acquisition, necessary for the prediction of emergency conditions in the operation of the above-mentioned substations. At the same time, tests of MV switchgear will be carried out as part of the task.

The strategic objective of the Project is to increase competitiveness in the industry market by introducing advanced solutions and safety systems for high and medium voltage substations into the offer and implementing them into production.

The project is being implemented by a consortium consisting of:

  • Elektrometal-Energetyka SA – Leader
  • The Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Electrical Engineering
  • Kozminski University

Total project value: 6 752 187,60 zł

Eligible expenditure: 6 664 695,60 zł

Co-funding value: 4 990 507,54 zł

Value of funding for Łukasiewicz – IEL (100%): 780 040, 80 zł
