How can we help
What we offer
RD support
We are experienced in designing static converters, developing high-power converters for use in electric traction and power generation to improve power quality and for large-scale renewable energy systems. We manufacture high-power chokes and special transformers operating at elevated frequencies particularly for power electronics systems. We design customised LED energy-saving lighting, develop electric drives for bicycles, cars, locomotives, design battery energy storage, wireless power transmission systems, low-speed wind generators and other electric machines. We offer consulting activities in our field.

OUR BUSINESS AREAS
Where do we operate?
The Centre specialises in the development of new solutions for power electronic converters and products based on them, and carries out unit or small batch production to order of the developed products.
We perform research activities in national and international, mainly European, projects. The subjects of research include modern electro-technical materials such as photovoltaic cells, magnetic materials, fuel cells, composite materials, electro-ceramics, powder technologies, piezoelectric materials, insulating compounds for special applications, electro-insulating varnishes and enamels, nanotechnologies and many others.
Specific to our area is switchgear and switching gear, high and low voltage AC and DC equipment, large-current systems used in industry and power generation, and high and low voltage AC and DC technologies.
The Centre conducts research and development activities in the field of hydrogen production, storage and processing, particularly in the area of gaseous hydrogen tanks and innovative electrode materials for electrolysers and fuel cells.
Our areas of activity include the development of innovative materials and technology dedicated to the electrotechnical industry, with the main focus on the recycling of electrotechnical materials, modern composite and ceramic materials, as well as hydrogen technologies.
The Testing Laboratories are engaged in type, safety, design testing of electrical power equipment and high and low voltage electrical equipment, protective equipment, light sources, gaming machines and live work tools according to standard requirements and customer specifications.
OUR BUSINESS AREAS
Experimentation and Production Department
We are active in the field of electrical engineering and safety in the broadest sense, from engineering and materials research, focusing on the development of new composites based mainly on epoxy resins and ceramics and the study of the properties of these materials through design tasks and the manufacture of electrical engineering products.
